Speech Preservation System

Whether you're sitting in a crowded stadium or enjoying a meal in an intimate restaurant, the Speech Preservation System reacts accordingly. Its ability to adapt automatically to various hearing situations makes hearing easier and more natural than ever.

Adaptive Noise Reduction

The Adaptive Noise Reduction (ANR) feature helps to distinguish whether the incoming signal is speech, speech in noise, or just noise. If it's noise, the ANR will reduce it, essentially tuning-out annoyances hindering the ability to understand speech. Further refinements of the sound signal are achieved through the "Own Voice" feature, resulting in a more natural representation of sound.

Improved Speech Intelligibility

Integral to Affinity's Speech Preservation System are the Affinity hearing aid's directional microphones. These highly developed and intelligent systems take directionality to a whole new level. The system is designed to detect the source of background noise, and then reduce sounds from that direction. And even if the noise moves or changes direction, Affinity's adaptive directional microphone system follows and reduces it - offering improved speech intelligibility.
